Abilene

Description
Please contact Sharon Goff (sharonmg68@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.AbilenE was one of six litter mates who were dumped in the middle of the night in a rainstorm at a home in the country. Abilene and her siblings were scared, wet and hungry and not used to strange humans. She has come a long way and now loves to be around her foster mom and dad. She is still leary of strangers so it will take her a little while to warm up to her new family. Once she gets to know you, she is ready for the belly rubs, petting and treats. Abilene looks much older and bigger than she really is. Abilene's estimated date of birth is 1/2/2009. She definitely has some red heeler in her and also resembles a Canaan Dog. Abilene weighs about 40# and is about 15' at the shoulder.Abilene is special needs because she has never been away from her siblings. She shares a pen with her sister Bandera. They are inseparable and will need to be adopted together. Abilene will still suffer severe separation anxiety because she has been in her foster home since she was five months old. She is terrified of any changes, even minor ones. It will take a special person to adopt Abilene and her sister Bandera.Abilene has been spayed, is up-to-date on her vaccinations inclouding rabies and is on heartworm preventative. For more information on Abilene, please e-mail Sharon at sharonmg68@yahoo.comSeptember 24, 2013, 3:16 pm.
