Successfully rehomed by Battersea Dog Home

Tootsie is a gentle and friendly girl who loves a cuddle once she knows you. However she is very timid in this environment and takes time to feel comfortable with someone new.

Tootsie really likes treats and takes them very gently. Treats will be a good way to continue her training and build a bond with her. She currently knows a SIT command but has the potential to learn lots more. New owners will need to take training gently and not put too much pressure on her.

Tootsie loves the company of other dogs, but she has quite a full on style of play which can be a bit too much for some dogs. She needs training around other dogs and to learn some manners; for that reason she will need to be the only dog in her new home.

Tootsie is looking for new owners who are patient and will give her time to settle at her own pace as we feel she may initally have a timid nature until she knows someone as this has been the behaviour we have seen here. She is also going to need lots of consistent training and is looking for owners who will be around for the majority of the day. Once settled Tootsie's affectionate nature should shine through.
