Hello, my name is Tai,

I’m a five year old male English Bull Terrier. I arrived at The Mayhew due to my owner’s ill health.

I’m a very strong and active boy. Super friendly, I get along well with everyone I meet and I also get along well with other dogs I meet out and about. I’m toilet-trained and I can be left home alone for a few of hours without any problems. I know the usual commands but typical of my breed I can be stubborn at times. I’m a very affectionate boy and I love having my tummy rubbed. I’m also very playful and I like to make people laugh. I love my food, my favouirte treat is peices of banana.

I’m now looking for a forever home with an active person or family who have owned dogs before and have researched my breed type. I can live senible children from sixteen years of age and upwards providing they are used to being around dogs. I’d prefer to be the only dog in the home but I can live with dog-confident cats. My new owners will be expected to provide me with a minimum of one hour of off-lead exercise every day. If you’re interested in adopting me you will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long-term commitment involved in caring for a dog, you’ll be taking on a ten year commitment which must not be taken lightly.
