Description

Wilson is a very special boy looking for a special home. He came to us due welfare concerns, and has, unfortunately spent quite a long time in kennels. Wilson is a very affectionate lad, but can on the face of it be larger than life, and a little bolshy at times. He is, however, underneath a  very scared baby (allbeit a very large one!) and needs a lot of gentle support in certain situations to help him overcome his fears. Wilson will need ongoing support to help him adapt to life in a home, (the centre will do all it can to help) and will need introducing to routines and normal life in baby steps, so as not to overwhelm him. Wilson is looking for experienced owners, who can understand his personality, and  have the time to spend getting to know him and continuing his education and helping him to grow into the wonderful lad he can be. A home with other animals is a possibility, in fact a well rounded confident dog, may possibly aid Wilson with his confidence issues. Due to his nervous, but sometimes OTT nature, Wilson is looking for an adult only home, where he will rarely be left at first, as once he has bonded with you, then he can become very clingy, and distressed when alone. This handsome, and gentle giant really is most deserving of a chance to shine, and put the past behind him, in return for all the fun and love he can give. Please could you offer Wilson the place in your heart that he so desperately needs, and give him a loving, new home?
