Tosca

Tosca

Description

Successfully rehomed by RSPCA Newcastle & North Northumberland Branch

Tosca is a gorgeous 5 year old Lurcher crossbreed. He entered RSPCA care in November 2011 and has been through such a terrible time. Poor Tosca was found abandoned in a home where he had been left tied to a wall and was extremely emaciated and had wounds on his body. His tail had been badly damaged due to him wagging it against the wall and he has undergone 2 operations to amputate the damaged parts. Tosca has been in kennels for a whole year whilst his owner was prosecuted and is now available for rehoming. He is a very friendly boy who always greets everyone with a smile! He is sociable with other dogs and enjoys going for a good run. Tosca knows some basic commands but would benefit from attending training classes with his new owner. Despite his large size Tosca walks nicely on the lead and is a real gentle giant. Tosca has moved between a few kennels during his stay with the RSPCA and is hoping that his next move will be into his forever home. If you feel you can offer this lovely boy the home he has been waiting for so long for, please contact the Rehoming Co-ordinator on 07973952575.
