Thane

Description

This is Thane, a handsome Smooth Collie.

Thane is a young dog with lots of energy and never tires of chasing his favourite Frisbee in the garden. He loves to be with people and is often found curled up in his favourite spot of the living room and will never turn down a cheeky tummy rub!
Thane would benefit from owners who have knowledge of dog ownership and who are around for part of the day to help him settle in. Due to Thanes history he would be best suited to a home with older sensible children. He can potentially live with a suitably matched dog in his new home however this will be pending a successful introduction at the centre.

If you are looking for a lovely dog to join you on lots of active countryside adventures, ask about Thane today!

If you are interested in Thane please call the centre ahead of your visit, lines are open from 10.30am (apart from Thursdays when we are closed to the public)

We'd love for you to come and see us. Visitors are welcome to walk around the equine walkway, cattery and small animal section. However, we operate restricted viewing of the dogs to minimise their stress levels.

PLEASE NOTE:
We may have a few dogs on the Burford site with kennel cough at the moment. Therefore owners of existing dogs wishing to adopt another dog are advised to contact the small animal department and speak to a member of staff who can advise on our procedures before visiting to see individual dogs.
