Taz
Description
Taz came in to us due to a change in his owners circumstances which meant that they were unable to take him with them to their new address. Taz was very unsure and nervous upon entry to the centre, and is a bit wary of new people until he gets to know them. It may take him a little time, but when he gets to know you he is a very friendly, exciteable little chap. Taz doesn't know many commands, apart from "sit", but so new owners would need to start some positively reinforced basic training at home. He has started responding to lead work whilst here which should be continued at home. He loves being off lead, doesnt show any interest in toys, and recalls well (but please speak to staff regarding these last two points). Although Taz is fine to be walked with, and be around other dogs, he would be best as the only dog in the house. He cannot be rehomed with cats and can to a home with children 15+. He will need an owner with previous nervous dog experience who understands what he needs to bring out the full potential of his sweet and friendly little character.
