Description

Successfully rehomed by The Mayhew Animal Home

Hello, my name is Suki,

I am an eight year old female German Shepherd and Labrador type crossbreed. I arrived at The Mayhew because my owner was homeless.

I am an intelligent and obedient girl. I’m very friendly and I get along well with everyone I meet, I also get along well with other dogs. I am toilet-trained, well-behaved and I travel well in the car. I’m also happy to travel on public transport. I can be left home alone without being destructive but I have been known to bark when left on my own. I know lots of commands, which I respond well to. I am a loyal dog who builds strong bonds and I’m super affectionate.

I am now looking for a forever home with someone who has owned dogs before and has researched my breed type. I will need a home where there is somebody around for most of the day. I can live with sensible children from twelve years of age and upwards and I would  happily share my new home with another dog providing we are the right match. I can also live with dog-confident cats. My new owners will be expected to provide me with a minimum of one hour of off lead exercise every day. If you’re interested in offering me a home you will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long-term commitment involved in caring for a dog, which must not be taken lightly.

I hope to see you soon,

Suki x
