Successfully rehomed by Bath Cats & Dogs Home

Stripe is a very handsome boy that likes a fuss and is affectionate once he gets to know you. He is initially wary of new people and tends to growl if unsure, anybody interested in adopting Stripe would need to visit him a few times to build a bond with him. He is looking for a very active home where he can get the long walks and stimulation he needs, somebody with knowledge of the husky breed would be an advantage. Stripe can be strong on the lead and is currently being halti trained to help with this. He is very good with other dogs when out and about, although he loves to play and can be a bit too much for quiter dogs! He is an intelligant boy and knows most of his basic commands, he adores his squeeky toys and is usually throwing one around his kennel to amuse himself! Stripe is looking for a home where he wont be left longer than a couple of hours a time and would need a home with older children as he does have an independant streak and is not overly keen on being handled too much. Stripe does not get on with cats or small animals so would need a home without other animals.
