Hello, my name is Storm,

I’m a nine year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossbreed. I arrived at The Mayhew due to my owner’s relationship breakdown.

I’m a very friendly and sensitive boy with lots of character. I get along well with everyone I meet and I like to lean in for cuddles, I also like to sit on peoples’ laps. I’m a very affectionate boy and I have an endearing habit of talking back to you with little grumbling noises. I’m toilet trained, well-behaved, I know all the usual commands which I respond well to and I can be left home alone for four or five hour without any problems. I love going to the park where I enjoy a good run and I get along well with other dogs I meet. I’m a very active and playful boy, my favourite game is playing fetch with a tennis ball. Don’t let my age fool you as I’m full of beans!

I’m now looking for a forever home with someone who has owned dogs before and has also researched my breed type. I’d happily share my new home with another dog providing we’re the right match and I can live with sensible children from twelve years of age and upwards. I wouldn’t be suitable to live with cats. I can also live with someone who works full-time providing I’m not left alone for longer than four hours without a break, either by hiring a dog walker or by coming home to me at lunch-time. My new owners will be expected to provide me with a minimum of one hour of off lead exercise every day. If you’re interested in adopting me you will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long-term commitment involved in caring for a dog, which must not be taken lightly.
