Description

My name is Sox. I'm a friendly girl who is looking for an understanding home with someone experienced in the breed. When I arrived at the centre I had very infected, sore ears. I had been suffering for so long with ear problems my canals had narrowed. All of this left me very untrusting of people and I couldn't cope with anyone touching me around this area. With treatment, my ears have improved massively and are no longer sore. The kennel staff have been doing training with me so that I am more relaxed when handled. The centre will go through this with potential owners and this will need to be continued in my new home. Due to the severity of the problems with my ears, I will always be prone to having problems, so my new owners will need to be prepared for this. I am sociable with other dogs and could live with a compatible male dog but not cats. I would probably be okay with sensible teenage children. I am very clean in my kennel, so the staff say I'm likely to be housetrained and would probably be happy to be left for a couple of hours.
