Description

Seb is a black and white border collie cross lurcher.

Seb is an active dog who enjoys playing fetch with his favourite toys. He is typical of the breed and can be very sensitive for this reason he will require owners who have plenty of experience of owning a collie. He will need plenty of long walks and play sessions throughout the day.

Seb is worried around other dogs and will look to his handler for guidance; new owners will need to be able to continue helping Seb when he is unsure. For this reason Seb will need to be the only dog in the home.

Due to Seb's sensitive nature he could live with older children in his new home but as he stimulated by movement would not be suitable to live with a cat. Seb is looking for a quiet rural home to help him grow in his confidence but he does enjoy plenty of cuddles.

If you are looking for a sweet natured, sensitive and energetic companion then Seb could be the chap for you!

We'd love for you to come and see us. Visitors are welcome to walk around the equine walkway, cattery and small animal section. However, we operate restricted viewing of the dogs to minimise their stress levels.

PLEASE NOTE:
We may have a few dogs on the Burford site with kennel cough at the moment. Therefore owners of existing dogs wishing to adopt another dog are advised to contact the small animal department and speak to a member of staff who can advise on our procedures before visiting to see individual dogs.
