Description

Scarlett came in to us because her previous owner couldnt cope with looking after her properly, resulting in Scarlett becoming very underweight. Her weight has improved a lot but she is still a little on the thin side, and will benefit from gaining a bit more. Scarlett is a really lovely little Staffie who is very people friendly and loves a fuss and getting lots of attention! She has had little, if any, prior basic training, but will now sit and wait for her food and for her lead to be put on. She is very treat motivated which will help new owners continue with her basic training at home. With positively reinforced leadwork, Scarlett has improved hugely on lead since entry and will walk nicely on a loose lead once settled. She is good off lead and loves to blast around. She does recall well as long as no tennis balls around as she is very ball focused and loves to play fetch. Scarlett is not to be rehomed with dogs or cats and does get easily distracted by other small and furries. Scarlett will be better in an adult only household. Please ask staff for more details.
