Ronnie

Description

Hi Lisa,

Was just thinking about you all at the Mayhew today – and was about to send you a short email to say Ronnie remains happy as Larry and is fit as a fiddle!

He’s taken to duck, grouse, partridge hunting in a big way now – twice a day I take him out in the fields here and he bombs about putting them up, with England football-like celebrations when he makes one fly!

His approach to other dogs has radically improved, although he never gets near any, off the lead – he still has an inclination to have a snap when he’s fed up with them so I’m very careful; but mostly now he actually runs up to dogs, wagging his tail. I let him do this and stand ready to pull him away if I spot a snap coming on, but as I say he’s much, much better even with males and is a sweetie with the girls!

Here is a selection of pix of him on the boat, at his favourite duck-hunting lake and in his armchair after having his hair cut!

Best wishes to all,

Jim
