Hello lovely people, my name is Rex and I'm a jolly ol' chap looking for a nice retirement home.

I love to be around you and getting out and about although I can't get around like I used to, so frequent shorter walks are best for me.

I've always been a bit of a ladies man but for some reason they do not always take too kindly to my advances, so I am best suited to live with a calm, older male dog. I'm always up for a nice stroll in the park with a nice girl though.

Do you have children? Do they respect the older generation? If so I'd be quite happy to meet them, and as long as we get along here maybe we could live together.

Now I hear cats are living with people nowadays too, so I'd be quite open to having one in my new home (providing they are used to dogs), even though I thought it was dogs who were mans best friend?

I promise not to be much trouble, just give me a nice fire to curl up in front of and you'll make an old man very happy!
