Pukka
Description
Pukka came into our care due to suffering neglect and emaciation and was being kept outside in poor conditions. He is a bouncy, lively dog who gets excited with any verbal or physical attention. Pukka is responding well with obedience training and this is helping him focus his attention on the handler. New adopters would need to be confident and used to lively, bouncy dogs as Pukka needs to socialise and learn in a new home. He is such an adorable, friendly chap who just wants to say hello to everyone he meets. Pukka loves being let off lead but can get a little over enthusiastic and will come running back at you at full pelt. He would be best suited to an adult only household and a home without cats or small furries would be needed as Pukka would probably want to chase them. Pukka could go to a home with existing, confident dogs as long as they are used to lively, excitable dogs. Pukka has not had a great start to life but if you think you could give him another chance in life he will return the love and affection ten fold.
