Oscar
Description
Hi Lisa,
I thought you might like an update on how Oscar is getting on, and a couple of photos. He’s a year old in a few weeks time, and we’ve had him just over 3 months.
He completed his beginners training course last week, and started in the intermediate class this week. There’s a photo – it’s not brilliant quality but you can see him at the front.
His training is coming along well, and he’s becoming more obedient and calmer when we’re out. He’s fine until he gets distracted by something! We’re able to leave him by himself for a few hours at home now without too much of a problem, having found a basket that he can’t chew or rip up! We haven’t really had any problem with barking, which I think you were worried about.
We took him on holiday to Wales in the summer. We have a touring caravan and he behaved very well. He loved the beach, and he even went on a dolphin watching boat trip! You can see in the photo how much fun he has with my sons.
I’ll send you another update in a few months. I have no objection to you forwarding this mail on Mrs Francois, who fostered Oscar before we adopted him. I think they were very fond of him.
Best wishes,
Alison Warne
