Minx
Description
Minx is an ex cruelty case who was taken into RSPCA care earlier this year. She is now fully recovered from the physical injuries she had sustained and remarkably is unscarred emotionally from the abuse she suffered. Minx is a really intelligent girl and is a fast learner. It essential that she is kept well stimulated in her new home, through basic obedience training and lots of daily exercise both on and off the lead. Minx is an outgoing, lively, loyal, beautiful and extremely friendly girl who really loves being off lead and playing ball with you. On lead she is generally well behaved, but she can be quite strong and so her new adopter will need to be confident that they can control her. Due to her previous owners failure to socialise her properly, Minx can get quite excitable around other dogs, and so the basic obedience that we have started with her here at the centre, and to which she is responding really well, will need to be continued in her new home, teaching her to remain calm and to control her excitement. Because of this Minx would be unable to live with another dog at this moment in time and likewise with cats. She will need an experienced dog owner, preferably with breed experience and will be able to live with children in their teens. Minx is a beautiful, friendly girl who has had a terrible start to her young life, but is now looking for a loving home where she will be safe, loved and looked after.
