Milton
Description
Milton is a firm favourite here with the staff. He has lived a life of neglect and cruelty until he came here in November last year. He has warmed our hearts with his tolerance and braveness during some treatment for infections and open sores.Milton is a lovely dog and very affectionate with those he knows. He is quite a big dog but still tries to get on your knee for a cuddle.
We would love him to find a home where he can be loved and treasured like he deserves.
Milton generally gets along well with other dogs he meets when he is out and about. He has a couple of pals here at the centre but most of his mates have been re-homed.
Why has no-one chosen him? He is great on the lead and although he is a big dog is easy to manage. He is very sweet and affectionate and rarely jumps up.
Milton travels well in a car and likes to be groomed.
He would thrive best in an environment where it was calm and relaxed. He may be too overwhelmed to live in a busy family environment. He could live with a friendly female companion pending successful introductions at the centre.
