Liquorice

Description

Liquorice is a 1 year old female Lurcher cross German Shepherd. She has sadly been retuned to us as her owners could no longer cope with her energy levels.

Liquorice is a larger than life character with boundless enthusiasm for life. She loves a good run (especially if there is a squirrel in sight!). Liquorice will need access to an enclosed area for off-lead exercise, as she does not have a reliable recall. She would not be suitable to live with cats or small pets.

Liquorice is very bright and responsive and thrives on training! She knows her basic commands, loves retrieving tennis balls and is fully house-traiined. She is walked on a head collar as she is strong on the lead.

Liquorice can be a bit mischievous in the home and has been known to run off with shoes or the washing-sponge!!! She is a real character and will need owners who have a sense of humour when she is up to her tricks! She is crate trained and enjoys the security and comfort that it gives her. This is a safe place she can be left in for a few hours when unattended.

Liquorice is looking for owners who have had active dogs before and are keen to continue her training. She has a wonderful temperament, and greets everyone she meets like a long lost friend. She will make a delightful addition to a family. Can you offer this gorgeous girl the loving, permanent home she is waiting for?
