Lexi
Description
Hello, my name is Lexi,
I am an eleven month old female Siberian Husky. I arrived at The Mayhew because my owner felt she no longer had the time to look after me properly after taking on a full-time job.
I am a very friendly and active girl. I get a along well with everyone I meet and I also get along well with other dogs. I’m toilet trained and I can be left home alone for a few hours without any problems. I’ve started to learn the basic commands but I’m still young and exuberant and yet to learn manners, my new owners will need to have plenty of time on their hands to continue my training. I’m a very playful dog who enjoys playing with her toys especially teddies and tennis balls. I’m also very affectionate and I love cuddling up next to people for attention and tummy rubs.
I am now looking for a forever home with an active person or family who have owned dogs before and have researched my breed type. I can live with sensible teenagers and I would also happily share my new home with another dog providing we’re the right match. I wouldn’t be suitable to live with cats. My new owners will be expected to take me to training classes and provide me with a minimum of one to two hours of active exercise every day. If you’re interested in offering me a home you will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long-term commitment involved in caring for a dog, you will be taking on a fourteen year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.
I hope to see you soon,
Lexi x
