KOBE
Description
KOBE / Lab Cross / Male / 1 to 2 Years / Rehoming Centre: Evesham
Kobe is a big young dog who's full of fun and enthusiasm and a bit of an adolescent wuss. He is a loving chap who sometimes gets carried away and forgets his own size and can thus be rather rough. He keen to learn and to please but sometimes gets it all wrong. Unfortunately in the past he's been punished for making mistakes so now he sometimes gets scared and panicky which only makes him more over the top and grabby. He's looking for adopters who are strong, calm and patient and who will teach him through rewards how to be calm and collected. He loves treats and is easy to train and could excel at an activity such as agility or tracking once the basics have been put in place. Kobe also loves toys. So much so that he will play with anything, whether it is a toy or not. so he is also looking for adopters who are reasonably tidy and have a sense of humour!
Kobe is looking for new owners who understand that Kobe is boisterous because he is insecure so needs his confidence building. He will need plenty of exercise and wouldn't suit a built up environment. He will need someone around most of the day to keep him out of mischief but he appears to be housetrained. Being strong he is looking for a home without small children or small pets. A resident dog that likes rough play could be considered but many dogs find Kobe just too much to live with on a full time basis. I also suspect you wouldn't have much garden left with two Kobe sized dogs playing in it! He has the potential to make a great pet for somebody who understands him and can spend time doing the training to keep him out of mischeif.
