Jasper is a stunning 2 year old neutered male Border Collie looking for a loving new home!

Jasper is a bright, intelligent dog with a friendly but submissive nature. He has missed out on early training so staff are working hard to make up for lost time! Older dogs can certainly learn 'new tricks' but he will need committed owners to continue what we've started.

Jasper's main issue is that he becomes frustrated on the lead when he see's other dogs. He wants to get to them and play but not all dogs can cope with his energy levels! He is currently being trainied to focus on his handler and to retrieve toys.

Jasper is not coping well in a kennel environment and is longing to find a new owner. He is spending lots of time in the staff room to keep him calm and stress-free. He settles really well away from his kennel and is a firm favourite with the team!

Jasper would enjoy living with another dog, however this is not essential. He is not suitable to live with young children. He would be best suited to a more rural environment.

The most important thing for Jasper is that he finds new owners who will 'work his brain', are experienced in dog training and will give him plenty of exercise. In return he will be a loving, rewarding companion. Is he the dog for you?
