FERRY

Description

Successfully rehomed by Dog Trust - London (Harefield)

FERRY / Jack Russell Terrier (JRT) / Male / 1 to 2 Years / Rehoming Centre: London (Harefield)

Ferry is a very clever chap that is looking for people that can be one step ahead of him at all times, and just as stubborn as him. He loves to have fun and be out and about so active owners are a must for him. He needs people that are prepared to teach him new tricks and keep his mind occupied - clicker training is recommended - a bored dog will make up his own fun! New owners must be patient with Ferry as he has had a rough time of late and he must be allowed to act like a dog - he is into everything. Ferry needs on going socialisation with other dogs once home, this has been started at the centre as he now goes out with a group, however this must be continued once home otherwise he will revert back to disliking dogs - so if you are not prepared for the hard work he is not the dog for you! Ferry is not a lap dog, and has huge amounts of potential in the right home and if you think that is you then please ask about him today.

Ferry is looking for people that have had feisty lively terriers that have loads of energy that they don't stop before and know how to entertain them and get the best out of them. He needs all training including house training, lead training and socialisation. He will not be an easy dog but he will be worth it in the long run.
