Elma
Description
My name is Elma. I arrived at West Hatch after an Inspector found me tied to tree, so sadly the centre have no knowledge of my background. I was very scared when he found me but once we made friends I was happy to go with him and was then relieved to get food and a comfy place to sleep. No one came forward for me so I am now looking for a new home. My new owner will need to have experience of large breeds. It is likely that once I settle into my new home I will become quite protective of my home and family but this is a very typical trait of my breed. I am sociable with other dogs and could be rehomed with a friendly male dog. Although I am a friendly girl, I can be a little wary of some people and the centre thinks I would be best suited to a home without children. I can be a little boisterous at times and have a tendency to be quite strong on the lead. It is likely that I am housetrained, as I stay very clean in my kennel and I would probably be happy to be left for short periods.
