Crosby
Description
Crosby is a little Staffie cross puppy that we have taken in from the dog pound. He was unclaimed by his owners and is now seeking a new life with a family that will offer him lots of love, exercise and play.Crosby requires some basic training which we have started at the centre but more training and socialising will be required by a new owner. He is unfortunately deaf so communicating to him has to be done with hand signals rather than words.
Crosby has had a poor start in life and his owners might not have even known he was deaf. A lot of deaf puppies end up being abandoned because their owners just think they are disobedient and naughty.
Deaf dogs are just the same as any other dog but they need an owner to adapt their ways and training to accomodate a dog that can only see things, not hear.
Crosby loves to play with toys and have a cuddle on your knee.
We would be looking to place Crosby with older or teenage children. He could possibly live with other pets pending further assessments and introductions at the centre.
