Hi, my name is Cody. I'm a very big collie with beautiful black and white markings. I recently came to West Hatch as my previous owner was unable to cope with me. I am a sensitive chap and changes in my home brought on some changes in my behaviour. Staff will go into detail about these with anyone who is interested in me. Like many collies, I form strong attachments to people that I love and trust and often to one person in particular. I can get extremely anxious if I am kept apart from that person or left alone for any period of time. I therefore need to find a home with someone who has alot of experience with collies and understands this problem. In return I am incredibly affectionate and loving, preferring to lay down by your side or nestle my head in your lap, rather than leave you alone. I recently went home with a member of staff which was great as let me curl up by his feet in the evening and sleep by his bed at night. I get a little worried by traffic, strange noises and other dogs so would prefer to live in the country where I can relax and overcome my anxieties. The member of staff who took me home would love to keep me! - but can't, so hopefully with the help of all the staff here, we can find a new home where I can build a friendship that will last the rest of my life.
