CHESNEY
Description
CHESNEY / Lab Cross / Male / 5 to 7 Years / Rehoming Centre: Loughborough
Chesney is a sensitive boy who needs time to get to know new people. He is an independent chap, who absolutely loves the company of his doggy friends and it helps him come out of his shell and feel comfortable. He doesn't really have much interest in toys, but i'm sure in the right home and with the right company he will learn that toys are a fun thing to play with!
Chesney needs to live in an adult only environment with adopters that were willing to come to the centre several times to meet him and so that he felt comfortable around you before you took him home. We feel at the centre that because he is so much more confident when he is in the company of other dogs that it is a must that he lives with another dog in his new home. We have had previous history that Chesney has lived with cats before too, so along with careful management and advice from the centre, he would also be able to live with a cat in his new home.
Chesney knows how to sit and give paw and is very eager to learn so further training will help him to bond and built trust with his new owners. As Chesney is a very typical Lurcher, he will do best with owners who are experienced of the breed. He is looking for a relaxed and calm environment where he can settle and become a loving and loyal pet.
