Successfully rehomed by The Mayhew Animal Home

Hello, my name is Buster,

I am a four year old male Sprollie. I arrived at The Mayhew because my elderly owner was no longer able to care for me.

I am an intelligent and active boy. I am toilet trained, I travel well in the car, I can be left on my own for a few hours without any problems and I know the usual commands which I respond well. I’m friendly with strangers I meet out and about but I can sometimes be unsure of strangers who visit my home. I get along well with other dogs I meet in the park and I have a good recall off my lead. I’m an affectionate and lovable boy who enjoys being showered with attention. Not only will I make an excellent companion I would also make a fab agility dog!

I am now looking for a forever home with someone who is experienced with dogs and has researched my breed type. I would happily live with another dog providing we are the right match but I wouldn’t be suitable to live with cats and I can live with sensible teenagers but no visiting young children please. My new owners will be expected to provide me with a minimum of one hour of active off lead exercise every day. If you’re interested in offering me a home you will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long-term commitment involved in caring for a dog, you will be taking on a fifteen year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.
