Hello, my name is Bryan,

I’m a one year old male Mixed breed. I arrived at The Mayhew because my owner’s weren’t allowed to keep pets in the property I was living in.

I’m a very friendly and active boy. Wiggly and giggly, I get along well with everyone I meet. I enjoy going to the park and I have a good recall off my lead. I’m toilet trained and I’m starting to learn the basic commands. Unfortunately I’ve not been properly socalised with other dogs and as a result I will bark at other dogs when I’m on my lead, off my lead I’m more sociable. I’m sweet-natured and very affectionate. I love sitting on peoples’ laps and being showered with love and attention. I’m not keen on being left on my own so I will need a home with someone who is around for most of the day.

I’m now looking for a forever home withÂ an experienced dog owner. I wouldn’t be suitable to live in a flat andÂ I’ll need a home where there is somebody around for most of the day.Â I can live with sensibleÂ teenagers andÂ ideally I would like to live with another dog. I wouldn’t be suitable to live with cats. My new owners will be expected to continue my training and socialisation, take me to training classes and provide me with a minimum of one hour of off-lead exercise every day. If youâ€™re interested in offering me a home you will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long-term commitment involved in caring for a dog, you will be taking on a fourteen year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.
