Brutus
Description
This older chap is Brutus, he came into the care of the RSPCA by one of our inspectors. His previous owner was not able to meet his needs and was advised to sign him over to our care so he could find a new home. He lived with 2 other dogs who were also signed over. Since Brutus has been in our care he has shown himself to be a very friendly boy. He settled in immediately and is now enjoying his life here. He would much prefer to be in a home though with new loving owners. Brutus was obviously loved at some point in his life as he has had training, he knows most of his basic commands. He can pull a little on the lead but we have found he walks much better on a harness, so we would advise his new owners to continue this. He is very clean in his kennel through the night which is a good indication that he is house trained. Brutus gets on well with other dogs and will be able to live with others pending a sucessful dog meet here, he is walked regularly with other dogs and even seems good with the youngsters! We feel he will suit a home with children all ages, even though he is an old chap he is still quite playful and can get excited so young children will need to be used to living with dogs.
