Hello, my name is Brody,

I’m a eighteen month old male Jack Russell Terrier mixed breed. I arrived at The Mayhew after being found abandoned on the streets of London.

I am a very friendly and active boy. I’m very playful and I get great pleasure from playing with my toys. I’m toilet trained and I can be left on my own for a couple of hours without any problems. I’m also very intelligent, responsive to commands and I enjoy my training. I love going to the park and while I get along well with most dogs I meet, I can take a dislike to some, so for this reason I need to wear a muzzle and long line on my walks. I’m a very affectionate dog, I love having my belly rubbed and my neck massaged.

I am now looking for a forever home with an experienced dog owner. I would happily live with sensible children from sixteen years of age and upwards but no visiting young children please. I could also live with another dog providing we are the right match. My new owners will be expected to take me to training classes and provide me with a minimum of one hour of controlled off lead exercise every day wearing a muzzle. If you’re interested in adopting me you will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long-term commitment involved in caring for a dog, you will be taking on a fourteen year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.
