Bex
Description
Bex came into our care through one of our inspectors. She was removed from her previous owners as they were not able to meet her needs. When Bex arrived she had a skin condition which had not been treated. She has been in our care for 2 months now while we treated her for demodex mites, she has finally been given the all clear from the vets to look for a new home. Bex was quite nervous when she first arrived in our care and was easily scared by people approaching her. During her stay and having treatment she has now put her trust in us and is so friendly we have now seen the true Bex and that is a very lively and playful young girl. She already knows some basic commands but will need further training in her new home, she was quite strong on the lead so we now walk her on a harness and she is better behaved walking on it so we would ask new owners to continue with this method. Bex doesn't seem to have been socialised with other dogs before coming into our care and she was very vocal towards them, we have been socialising her here and she is getting better but we feel she will be best being rehomed as the only dog initially. Once she has settled in if new owners wanted to they could introduce another dog. Bex will need a home with children 8 years and over as she can be livley once she knows you but she is still only a baby herself.
