Bella
Description
Hello, my name is Bella,
I’m a five year old female English Bull Terrier and Staffordshire Bull Terrier Crossbreed. I arrived at The Mayhew because my owners felt they no longer had the time to look after me properly.
I’m a very friendly and active girl. I get a along well with everyone I meet, always greeting people with a waggy tail. I also get along well with other dogs. I’m toilet trained, well-behaved and responsive to commands. I’m not keen on being left on my own but I cope well with being left in a crate home alone for a few hours. I’m a very affectionate dog. I like to snuggle up next to people for love and attention and I always enjoy a good massage. I’m a real people dog and I love to be include in family life and every day activities. I also love going to the park where I enjoy a good run, I have a very good recall off my lead. I also love to play. My favourite game is fetch, which I’d happily play for hours on end.
I’m now looking for a forever home with an active person or family who have owned dogs before and have researched my breed type. I will need a home where there is somebody around for most of the day. I can live with sensible children from ten years of age and upwards providing they are used to being around dogs. I’d also happily share my new home with another dog providing we’re the right match. I wouldn’t be suitable to live with cats. My new owners will be expected to provide me with a minimum of one hour of active off-lead exercise every day. If you’re interested in offering me a home you will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long-term commitment involved in caring for a dog, you will be taking on a ten year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.
I hope to see you soon,
Bella x
Bella is currently living in foster care until her new forever home is found. If you are interested in adopting her you will need to visit The Mayhew first before going to see her in her foster home.
