Barney

Barney

Description

Successfully rehomed by Blue Cross - Southampton

Barney is a fun, energetic chap looking for active new owners. He loves nothing more than chasing and retrieving his kong toy for you in the garden and going out for long walks.

Barney is typical of his breed he can be boisterous and exuberant but he enjoys being around people and is a very fun loving, happy dog. As a breed they can also be independent and have a bit of a stubborn streak too!

Barney is ideally looking for experienced owners who have a good understanding of his breed traits. You will also need to be active and physically strong as he is quite a powerful dog to walk.

Barney is keen to greet other dogs when out walking and is happy to sniff hello but he can be a bit boisterous in play so he needs to be exercised responsibly. He needs to be the only pet in his new home and can live with confident, older children. He will make a fun and enjoyable companion in the right home; if you think he could be the dog for you then contact us today. He is currently on our Home Direct scheme.
