Barney
Description
Meet Barney, this lovely gentleman is Jack Russell cross.Barney likes the quiet life and enjoys regular walks with off lead free time to sniff about and investigate his surroundings. He also enjoys playing tugging games and then sleeping or resting on his favourite comfy pillow watching the world go by.
He likes to greet other dogs on his walks but doesn't want much from them so is best suited to a home as an only dog. Due to his breed traits he would not be suitable to live with cats or other small animals.
Barney has experience of living with children and could do so again in his new home pending introductions here at the centre. Barney enjoys the company of people and would make a lovely addition to any home.
If you are looking for a sweet older gentleman to join the family then Barney could be the chap for you!
If you are interested in Barney please call the centre ahead of your visit, lines are open from 10.30am (apart from Thursdays when we are closed to the public)
We'd love for you to come and see us. Visitors are welcome to walk around the equine walkway, cattery and small animal section. However, we operate restricted viewing of the dogs to minimise their stress levels.
PLEASE NOTE:
We may have a few dogs on the Burford site with kennel cough at the moment. Therefore owners of existing dogs wishing to adopt another dog are advised to contact the small animal department and speak to a member of staff who can advise on our procedures before visiting to see individual dogs.
